Hello everyone
What a fantastic service on Sunday as we welcomed 12 new members into our CLCL Family. We also had 60 people in the building with a real sense of excitement as we worshipped together. Please continue to pray for all of our new members as they connect with us further. Pray also for Tabo and Vernon this week as they minister in Widnes as we continue to build relationships with New Life Christian Centre. As John reminded us on Sunday we are in this faith life together, empowered by the presence of Jesus and loved by our Church family. Let’s continue to love one another, to spur each other on and live this life together as we serve Christ.

Unity not Uniformity
1 Corinthians 12:12-14
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
I love the Picture Paul gives us in Corinthians of one body and many diverse parts. it is an amazing picture of unity and uniqueness. Religion wants to control us and cause us to believe that we have to look, act, and express our faith in the same way, however Jesus called us to unity not uniformity. We are the body of Christ, the family of God. We get to love one another, cheer each other on, do life together and express our oneness in Christ. We also get to be completely and utterly unique. To express the fulness of the body of Christ we need all of our gifts, all of our culture, and backgrounds. We need to express our creativity the individual personalities and the characters God has given to us. The wonderful truth about the body of Christ is we are unified and unique. Be free to express your individuality and unity as we live our lives as the family of God at CLC.
Love & Blessings
