Giving

If you’d like to support the ministry of St Helens Christian Life Centre, you can do so in a number of ways. The money you give supports the projects, generosity and fabrics of the church.

If you’d like to give a one off gift, you can use our simple and secure online form and give securely via PayPal.

If you’d like to give on a regular basis, the best way to do this is through our weekly offering or via standing order – details of which are below.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure.

Ways to Give

Weekly Offering

During our Sunday Service

We have space in our services to give in person. The leader of the service will announce it’s time to drop your offering at the front of church/

Online Donation

One Off Donations

To give as a one off, you can give online on the button below. It’s handy for one-off donations but we do get charged a fee.

Standing Order

Regular Giving

The best way to give regularly is via standing order. Download the form here and return it directly to your bank.

To give by cheque, please make this payable to St Helens Christian Life Centre or CLC St Helens.

The UK Government’s Gift Aid Scheme enables churches to reclaim tax on any monetary donation (tithes and offerings) made by any UK tax payer.

Find some commonly asked questions and a downloadable form below.

Anyone who pays UK income tax on their salary can give their donations through the Gift Aid Scheme.

For example:

If you give £40 to your Church, having signed up to the Gift Aid Scheme, the Church can reclaim from the Government an additional £10. Therefore, £40 is worth £50 to the Church when given by the Gift Aid Scheme.

First, fill in a Gift Aid Form, available from our Finance Officer Sophie Watson, or Barbara Fell.

Once your form has been registered, you will then be given a unique identification number to be used whenever you give a donation (tithes). It is important that we are able to identify your donation so that we make the correct claim.

No. If they do and have not paid Income Tax, HM Revenue and Customs will require the individual to repay any money claimed through the Scheme.

You can still tithe to the church without Gift Aiding.
