We love to worship together as family and believe our children grow as they experience the presence of God during gathered worship. During this part of our family service parents/guardians are responsible for supervising and helping their children engage and take part in the worship service.

We have an area where quiet toys are provided for younger children, however this area isn’t staffed so please be aware where your children are at all times and try to help them engage with the rhythm of the service. Free play and expression during worship is fantastic for children as they grow in the presence of God. 

During prayer, communion and times of sharing our stories, children will benefit from being encouraged to engage in these times with parents/guardians and we long for our children to increasingly encounter the love, power, and presence of God. We see parents and guardians as a huge part of this as you engage your children both in and outside of church. If there is any help or advice we can offer you as you raise your children in Jesus please let us know. Also if there is anything that has particularly worked for you or stories of your children growing in faith and encountering God please share them with us!

Rock Solid times

At an appropriate break in the service (at approximately 11:15am) there will be either a verbal or on screen announcement for children to go out to Rock Solid. Please ensure Little Pebbles (age 3-7) are taken to their groups or taken to a leader as they leave.

Collecting Children

For the Little Pebbles group (ages 3-7) we ask that parents now collect their children following the end of the service. Due to growing numbers it is no longer practical for leaders to bring all of the children back to their parents. For our stepping stones (age 8-11) with parents’ permission we allow our older children to make their own way back to parents.
