Our Sunday Services are a great starting connection point to St Helens Christian Life Centre. We currently have one service in person each week at 10.30am on Sundays. You can expect a warm welcome, some lively music as part of our corporate worship time, prayer, someone will speak and prayer is usually offered towards the end, which is a chance to respond to what we have heard or to receive prayer if you need it. You’re welcome to stay for a brew as well afterwards too.
Below is some more information about our Sunday Morning services, and feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
You are more than welcome to head down to church early, and we encourage you to to take the 10.25 challenge. Hebrews 10.25 teaches us “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more,” so try arriving early and make a point of intentionally encouraging someone.
There are plenty of parking spaces at our Centre, but you may want to arrive early to make sure you get a space. There are also disabled parking spaces and our building is fully accessible to people with disabilities.
Our Sunday morning services have a full Children & Youth provision and our creche is available in both services with a full live feed, so you won’t miss a thing! You can find out more about our kids work, here.
Rock Solid Kids is our children’s programme that takes care of children ages 3 – 11, and our FEARLESS Youth group meet at the same time, for ages 11 upwards. Find out more about Fearless, here.
Most of our 10.30am Services are signed for our deaf community and we also have a full induction loop system installed.
We do receive an offering as part of our service. Anything you are able to give contributes directly to the work that we do as a Church. If you would like to give regularly and are a tax payer, we can benefit from Gift Aid.
Please visit our giving page, here, for more detail on how you can support the ministry of St Helens Christian Life Centre.
We open our Cafe after both services, so as well as offering tea and coffee, we provide opportunity to build relationship with one another.
We believe that Jesus changes lives. Finding Jesus means a transformation to a new way of living. We are given a release from the burdens we have been carrying and new, life-changing perspective on everything. We begin a new journey, within a new family and begin to understand that we are loved by God more than we ever could imagine.
With this new identity, we grow and explore life together as family with Jesus.
A movement of Pentecostal churches working in the United Kingdom, Ireland and over 40 nations around the world
The Elim Pentecostal Church is a growing Movement of more than 550 Christian congregations in the UK and Ireland.
Elim was founded in 1915 by George Jeffreys, a young Christian from Maesteg in South Wales. Jeffreys and a group of friends, known as the Elim Evangelistic Band, preached, started churches and witnessed a move of God that was characterised by miraculous healings and an explosion in the number of people becoming Christians.
In a world that can feel like a desert, our 21st-century churches seek to be a place of spiritual resource within their communities.
The founders wanted the name of their new Movement to express their vision and values, and so chose ‘Elim’, the name of an oasis in the Bible that the people of Israel discovered as they wandered through the desert. It provided shade and refreshment to all who encountered it.
Find out more about ELIM on their website.
