Hi all
Praying for you this week as we continue to walk through the strange season we are currently in. Confusion seems to be commonplace as our government try to manage a complex and unprecedented situation. Our prayers are with all of our leaders in national and local government. We continue to pray for you and are blessed by your love for us and for each other. Keep pressing in to Jesus, look to him and keep serving each other. You are an amazing church family to lead and we love every expression of the love and compassion of Jesus demonstrated in and through every one of you.Eldership Announcement
On Sunday we announced that after praying and hearing God, Roy and Brian have decided to retire from Eldership. They both are and will remain spiritual fathers in our CLC family, however they believe it is time to step back from the responsibility of Eldership to make room for new younger Elders to emerge. We will be taking time in our next two services to honour two Godly men who have served us with excellence. I would like to thank them again for their Godly example and faithfulness to God and to CLC. I am also thankful that they have both agreed to remain available to me and the elders for advice and wisdom. The Elders and I have been praying and will continue to pray and seek God for the appointment of new Elders. We believe God has been speaking to us about the next generation and we will continue to seek Him in the coming weeks. In this moment we want to focus on celebrating the wonderful service of Roy and Brian and Honouring them both. If you would like to send cards or gifts to Roy and Brian and don’t have an address then we will gladly receive them at church and deliver them on your behalf. Please be praying for Roy, Brian and their families at this time and for the Elders as they seek God for the next season.Gathered Services

Local Lockdown
As Merseyside is in local lockdown we are currently advising Reach groups to meet on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Hangouts for the moment. Places of worship can continue to gather under the local lockdown rules with our COVID measures in place. Therefore our Sunday gathered services will continue as planned.Daniel
During Sundays word I issued us a challenge to read the book of Daniel together asking the question “How does this book and the example of the people of God inspire me to stand up for and demonstrate my faith today?”
Live Prayer
On Thursday from 7pm til 7:30pm Tash and I will be on the CLC Facebook page offering live prayer. Please join us, bring your prayer requests, and come ready to pray and prophesy over others. Sharing the posts on social media would also be a great way to help us minister the gospel to more people.
We are the Church
In this time we have seen a demonstration of the people of God being His church. Never before in my lifetime in the UK have we been restricted from our buildings. yet growth spiritually, growth in our reach, and an increased interest in the church from people who are not yet Christians are evident in our church family. You are the church, we are the church. In our unified relationship and purpose every small act we do in the name and character of our Lord Jesus is connected together as a Spirit empowered demonstration of the Church of Jesus Christ. Let us keep serving in the little things, love well, give generously and care for one another with compassion and grace as we are the church.1 Corinthians 12:27 New International Version
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
Love & Blessing
Craig
