Weekly Update 07/09/20

Updates from Pastor Craig 07.09.2020

Hi all

What a great morning we had together as we streamed live from church using some of our new equipment. Thanks to Ste, Jay, and Gabbi for your hard work in setting things up. Thanks also to everyone who helped out and was involved in the service. We are so looking forward to welcoming more of you back into the building in the coming months. It is unusual to gather with masks and listen to the worship rather than singing together but as the team found yesterday there is still something special about seeing each other in person and gathering corporately to worship.

Streaming services how can you help?

We are now looking to recruit a team of volunteers to help with the technology and a team of online pastors to minister to those connecting. We see this as an expanding ministry with great potential to reach out beyond the walls of the church. If you feel this is something God is calling you to then please contact us.

you can also still give into the fund for streaming equipment If you would still like to. To give online please use the reference “stream” For physical offerings place them in an envelope marked “Stream”.

Church Sunday gatherings

Gathered Services:

As we announced yesterday We will offer three morning services during September and October all starting at 10:30am on Sept 20th, Oct 4th & Oct 18th. To hear the announcement again watch the Video below:

To book your space at one of these services please follow the link below:

Services

A flexible approach in a changing landscape:

All of the options above are dependent on the COVID 19 situation and Government guidance. We are confident that with any changes in the virus situation we will be able to adapt between our three options for services (pre-recorded online only, gathered services, and live stream gathered services). As lockdown restrictions lift we will increase numbers allowed in gathered services; conversely should a local lockdown occur we have the ability to shift back to only online services.

Reach Gatherings

You are still able to book your Reach groups into church should you require a larger space to meet. You can also still sign up to join or start a Reach group online. Follow the link below.

Reach

All things for good

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Our God is the God of redemption. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ redemption is available for all of humanity. Salvation, forgiveness, freedom and abundant life can be ours. I believe in this time we are going through our God is doing a redeeming work. I am expectant in faith of what God will do in each of our lives as He moves us out of this dark season and brings His light. What are you expecting for your life, for your family, for our town and our Nation?

Let us pray in faith and receive all God has for us in this coming season.

Love & Blessings

Craig
