Hi All
I believe God is doing something significant with us as a church family in this season. Lockdown has been challenging but it has also slowed the pace of life for many and afforded us an opportunity to focus on God and lean into Him. I believe God is readying us to be a presence filled movement, a grace drenched community who pour out in mission everything they receive from God. This is not a call to do more but to be more. To receive more and from that connection with God to flow out into the lives of others. We are commissioned by Christ on the mission of God. We are sent by the sending God, accompanied by Jesus who promises to be with us always! Presence and mission, apostolic action and rest, are designed to flow together as we freely receive and freely give.
Elders Announcement and Affirmation process
After much prayer and hearing God the Elders believe God has been speaking to us about appointing an Elder from a younger generation. Having heard this, we believe Simon Consiglio is the right person to step into Eldership. We have felt for some time that Simon would be our next Elder and have received a prophetic word from a member of our CLC family confirming the importance of both Simon and his wife Kelly alongside us in leadership of the Church. We have approached Simon and he has taken time to pray and seek God. Having spent time praying, Simon also believes this is the right time for him to step into Eldership.
We would love you all to spend some time in prayer throughout the month of February. Our members will have received an email asking for a response during the affirmation process. As an Elim Church our process of appointing Elders is to seek the affirmation of our members. We therefore ask that all of our members contact us givingĀ affirmation of the Elders’ proposal or with any questions or concerns. For those who are not yet members we value you and we would love to hear from you as you pray and hear God during this month.
Live Prayer
On Thursday we are online again for live prayer from 7pm-7:45pm. Come with your prayer requests and ready to share prophetic words and pray for others.
Join us live on St Helens Christian Life Centre Facebook.
Sunday Services
Lockdown services for those not on the internet and those who are feeling lonely and isolated will continue throughout February. We will then look at Government guidance as to how we proceed from March onwards. For more information watch the video below.

We are the Church
The reality of the church of Jesus Christ as a movement ofĀ people connected by their relationship with Jesus, has been brought into sharp focus as the global pandemic has restricted access to our buildings. You are the church and I thank God for each one of you. We give thanks for the way you love and serve each other and the wider community.Ā Together we are being built up in love and relationship as we trust Holy Spirit to lead us. We are the church, a spiritual house made up of living stones, together a holy priesthood. Let us continue to offer spiritual sacrifices of love and service to each other and the world around us.
1 Peter 2:4-6
As you come to him, the living Stone ā rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him ā Ā you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual houseĀ to be a holy priesthood,Ā offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Love and blessings
