Hi all
This will be my last Weekly update of 2020. As the year comes to a close and we look ahead to resuming in person gatherings in January, please don’t forget to book online https://sthelensclc.com/connect/
What a challenging year it has been! We started with our word for the year with God asking us to explore and take new ground, then to exploit the ground He is giving us for His kingdom purposes. What a year of exploring it has been! A whole new way of doing and being church is emerging from the the global pandemic. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for the way you have loved and supported each other this year. A massive thank you also to our worship team, our preachers, leaders, streaming team and tech teams, welcome team, children’s workers, youth workers, prayer teams, healing Encounters, Sozo team, Reach groups, our DIY volunteers, all at the CLC and all at The Hope Centre as you have stepped up this year with passion, commitment, and innovation. Tash and I have been so blessed and so proud of the way the whole church has responded. We are so thankful for you and love each one of you.

Can you Help?
The Hope Centre has been so blessed with food donations this year. We have so much to distribute that we need extra help. Are you physically fit and able to help on December 23rd. If so Ken Barton needs help moving food. Please contact Beryl if you are able to help. Email beryl@hopecentre.org.uk
2020 & 2021
At this time of year as Christmas approaches we are in the twilight of 2020 and looking ahead to the dawn of 2021. A time of reflection as we look back on the challenges, lament the losses, and celebrate the kindness and fresh opportunities that 2020 held for each of us. It is also a time when we lift our eyes up to see the dawning of a new year and begin to dream with God for the new opportunities He will awaken us to. I believe Christmas will be a prophetic time of praise and revelation as we give thanks to God for HIs keeping power and look ahead to the new things He is about to birth in each of us and in HIs church.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
Have a happy Christmas and an abundantly blessed new year.
love and blessings
Craig and Tash
