Hi All
Great to see some of you online this week whilst others met with Phil and John as they led our in person gathered service. Lot’s to share this week as we continue to be the family of God despite the limit on our physical gatherings. Next Sunday is our online only week so do you best to gather with us and join in the chat. We love to see your greetings and share together through our Church online website and our facebook page. Looking forward to gathering with you all together virtually next Sunday morning.
Honouring Roy & Brian
On Sunday we had the privilege of honouring Roy and sharing our gratitude, prayers, and words for Roy and Barbara. We will send our video around later in the week for you to watch.
I would like to again thank Roy and Brian for their Godly example and their faithfulness to God and to CLC.
The Elders and I have been praying and will continue to pray and seek God for the appointment of new Elders. We believe God has been speaking to us about the next generation and we will continue to seek Him in the coming weeks. In this moment we want to focus on celebrating the wonderful service of Roy and Brian and honouring them both.
If you would like to send cards or gifts to Roy and Brian and don’t have an address then we will gladly receive them at church and deliver them on your behalf.
Please be praying for Roy, Brian, and their families at this time and for the Elders as they seek God for the next season.
Gathered Services
Our services in November are now filling up please follow the link below to book your places.
As we now settle into the new rules in Liverpool City Region since being placed in Tier 3 we are praying for you and are always here for a phone call or online catch up if you need someone to talk to. Places of worship can thankfully still meet under the new restrictions. We expect church services to continue under our current COVID safe measures. As more information is made available we will update you on any changes required for places of worship.
As we did under local lockdown we are currently advising Reach groups to meet on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Hangouts for the moment.
Good news – Advent Calendar
This Christmas we want to share good news stories throughout December on our social media platforms. Our idea is 24 days of good news to encourage believers and witness to those who are not yet Christian – 24 days of good news gifts. We will release these in the form of an online advent calendar with a new video to open every day from the 1st to the 24th of December. We will then add the link to our online Christmas Day service.
We need your help
Could you record a video on your phone sharing a short testimony of how the goodness of God has impacted your life. The more simple and concise they are the easier they will be for people to access.

We Are Family
Tash and I have loved observing how our church family has stepped up and cared for each other in this restricted season. Can I encourage you, as Lockdown continues to be strict in our area, can we again step up in our communication? Why not call people, text them, send cards and letters. We all need to be encouraged and connected as we travel this journey together. We are family, unified in Christ, connected through HIs love. Let us reach out in ever more creative and loving ways to each other this week.
