Hello everyone,
Tash & I are so missing connecting with you all. We are looking forward to the days ahead when we can again gather, give you all a hug, and spend time together face to face. During this season let us continue to try our best to connect online and over the phone together. We will also endeavour to encourage each other through our online Church and the words and messages we share. There is lots happening in the coming weeks to share with you, for you to enjoy, pray into and invite others.
May Services:
On 17th May Tim Alford our National leader from Limitless (Elim’s youth ministry) will be bringing our word, we will celebrate our youth and have them involved in our online service. Then on May 31st our online service will be a Joint town wide service in unity across the town. This is to replace our “Church in the Square” joint service that has been postponed until next year.
United:
In the week leading up to our joint service join us for a free week long programme of online content provided by churches from across St Helens to engage, inspire, and transform! 25-31 May 2020
We want to see you:
Why not record a family greeting or an encouraging testimony so we can see more of you in our services in May. We will also continue to share Communion as a church family at all of our online services. Please prepare bread and juice for yourselves to partake in your home.
Youth
Gill is launching some new opportunities for our youth and for each of us. Fearless Youth will be hosting Friday night zoom meetings for our young people from 8pm-9pm please email fearlessyth@sthelensclc.com for access details from Gill.
Also on Friday evenings 7pm -7.30pm Gill will be hosting zoom Prayer meetings for us to pray for our young people. Zoom Prayer will start on Friday 1st May, again please email Gill for login details.
Generosity & Hardship:
The Generosity shown by you at this time had been amazing and I would again like to say a huge thank you and commend you for sharing financially with those in need. We continue to see gifts coming in for our hardship fund and have been able to bless people within the church family and also give into the local authority’s appeal to help those in need. We have also seen many more people sign up to giving online whilst our weekly offering isn’t available. Your continued support is such a blessing to our Church community & beyond..

Stay in touch & Share the good news:
People have all kinds of questions in this unprecedented time. The answers our found in Jesus Christ and released through His body the Church. Please help us share the good news to a world lost without Christ by following, liking, and sharing our online activity. Our aim in this season is to stay in touch with one another and reach out to those that are yet to know the fulness of a relationship with Christ.
To help you stay connected please ensure you have signed up to our whattsapp, text service, or email.
Alignment:
I believe we are in a season of alignment, the natural world often mirrors the spiritual realm and as we go through a time of questioning the way we live, work, educate and exercise I believe it is also a time for us to realign our lives to the life of Christ and the Ways of God. I believe it is time for us to align with God in His Holiness, in His goodness, in His kindness and in His love. It is time for us to pursue God’s ways and go deeper in this Christ life. A time of preparation so that our yielded lives would produce the fragrance of Jesus. That we may spread the aroma of Christ more pungently, more abundantly and with a greater reach than ever before.
2 Corinthians 2:14 & 15 The Passion Translation
God always makes his grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of his endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go.  We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God—a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing.Â
Love and blessings
