Hello everyone,
Lots to share this week so we’ll get straight into it.
Small group gatherings
We are pleased to see many of you gathering in small groups and connecting together. I have enjoyed beginning to see some of you and look forward to catching up with more of you now we can meet in gardens, parks, and in church. The church building is now ready and COVID19 precautions are in place if any of your groups would like to meet inside church while we are unable to meet in homes. However during this phase our primary aim is just that we meet together in our groups, be that in church or anywhere else in line with government guidance.
It is our aim to help everyone connect to a reach group and we continue to see new groups starting and new people joining at this time. Reach leaders please use the online booking system to book a small group in church then one of the Pastors will contact you and arrange to meet with you and to manage the building and COVID measures we have in place.
Contact us to join a Reach group, start a Reach group or to book an in church gathering.
Providing Government guidelines allow then from September we will look to cluster Reach groups into larger gatherings and consider Sunday gatherings in the building along with our online service.
If you have any questions, concerns or thoughts around our next steps for small groups or Sunday gatherings then please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
Send us your videos
We would love to see & hear from you as you begin to gather in your Reach groups. Please send us some photos or even consider recording a short video greeting and a word on what God is saying to your group.
Live Streaming
Having developed our online service to serve our church family we have seen God moving the church beyond our walls. We believe God is preparing us for the next season. We have heard reports of people joining us who are unable to come to church due to health issues. We have also seen many friends and family members who are not yet Christians connecting to our online content.
With this in mind the Elders have decided to invest in some live streaming equipment. This will allow us to maintain the quality of our online services by broadcasting our morning services live online after we have returned to church gatherings. We believe this will serve those who are unable to attend services such as some of our elderly members and those with health conditions. We also see this as an amazing evangelistic opportunity where people can give church a try online before they have to come to the building or even connect remotely form other parts of the UK and the world.
The cost of the equipment to stream well will be £3000 and we would like to give you the opportunity to give into this as we look to reach out further online. If you would like to give then please mark your online giving with the reference “stream”. For physical offering place them in an envelope marked “Stream”
Hardship & Giving
If you are being impacted financially by the current situation and you would like to have some assistance from our hardship fund please contact one of the Pastors or email office@sthelensclc.com
Online banking issues
There have been a number of people who have had problems setting up bank standing orders or trying to do a bank transfer to the church bank account.
We are aware that banks are being more stringent in matching bank payments with the actual account name. So if you want to set up a standing order, or use online banking for your church offerings, we suggest using “EFGA Re St Helens” instead of Christian Life Centre as the name of the church account.
The account number and sort code are unchanged.
To transfer your regular giving online or to continue to give into our hardship fund. Here are the bank details:
Name: EFGA Re St Helens Sort Code: 60-05-16 Account Number: 18536778
Live Prayer
Tash and I will continue to be available for live Prayer from 7pm – 7:30pm this Thursday on both the CLC Facebook page and the CLC Youtube channel. We have heard some great testimonies from our live prayer. So whether you need prayer for you or your family or whether you are able to join us and pray for others, it will be great to have you online as we minister together.
We are looking forward to gradually seeing more of you and to meeting you virtually online. You are all in our prayers.
Love & Blessings Craig #Separated but not Isolated
