Weekly Update 30.03.20

Updates from Pastor Craig 30.03.20

Hello everyone,

I loved being able to chat to so many at online church yesterday. What a great way to be together until we can actually gather again at CLC. God is moving in fresh ways and reaching out to new people as we move out of our building and go online.

Can I encourage you to share the link for online church with friends who know Christ and particularly those who don’t. God is moving and people will come to faith in Christ during this season.

Weekly schedule:

We have lots of online content again for you this week. Please stay connected and also share with us your testimonies so we can hear from you too.

Services communion:

We will continue to have communion in all of our online Sunday services.

Please could you prepare bread and juice in your homes and during our online services we will lead us through communion together.

Hardship:

If you are being impacted financially by the current situation and you would like to have some assistance from our hardship fund please contact one of the pastors or email office@sthelensclc.com

Giving:

If you normally give into the offering on Sunday could you please consider transferring your giving online. Also to give into our hardship fund here are the bank details (Bank details here)

Stay connected:

Let us make an extra effort to connect as we go into our second week following the Prime Minister’s announcement to stay at home.

Connect – Please contact each other regularly and continually pray for your CLC family.

Care – Make an extra effort to contact those living alone. Loneliness will be heightened at this time unless we step out to care for those living alone.

Share – Could you do some shopping or cook a meal for someone who is self isolating? How about a gift to someone who is in need?

Self Isolating or don’t have access to the internet:

This week we were able to deliver online church CDs to some of our members who are not on the internet and some isolation bags with gifts, goodies and church information.

To help us stay connected please let us know if you or someone else in church has no access to the internet or is currently self Isolating. We don’t want anyone to feel separate from the CLC family at this time.

How can you help?

To volunteer with Church at this time please contact office@sthelensclc.com

A new way to meet and to reach out

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the day approaching.”

Let us make every effort to share love and do good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together but meet together in new ways. I believe God is going to use you in fresh ways to bless, love and do good deeds. I also am believing for a greater opportunity to impact our Reach at this time. Let us reach out and share the hope we have with those in our reach who don’t yet know Jesus.

Love and blessings

Craig
